Embarking on the cloud journey wasn’t something I’d initially planned. After years in IT Support Admin, I wanted to make a career transition to cloud landscape. I was a complete novice in cloud technology —unsure of where to begin and flooded with questions: Can I really make this transition? Will it open doors to new job opportunities? What about salary prospects? Like many, my mind was filled with uncertainties, doubts, and a hint of excitement.

I took that first step. While balancing a full-time job, I dived into Google Cloud Platform (GCP) learning, starting with the Cloud Digital Leader (CDL) certification. Step by step, I progressed, earning the Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE), Professional Cloud Architect (PCA), and finally, the Professional Cloud Security Engineer (PCSE) certifications. Today, I’m proud to say I’m working as a GCP Architect in a top multinational company, doing work I’m passionate about.

I understand the challenges and the drive it takes to transition from a non-cloud or non-IT field into this fast-growing industry. With over 14 years in the IT industry and expertise in Google Cloud, I bring a rich background in Networking, cloud architecture, and security. My experience spans leading companies like IBM, Ericsson, and Capgemini (Aricent), where I developed robust cloud infrastructures and orchestrated seamless migrations to GCP.

I’m passionate about helping others to embark upon their Cloud Journey and to bring clarity and confidence while navigating cloud landscape, sharing my knowledge, and continuously learning in this ever-evolving field.
